  PERSONAL STATEMENT

Dr Brazinski has been representing Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists in Burke County since 1999. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr Brazinski has particular interest and expertise in the areas of arthroscopic surgeries of the shoulder and knees, as well as total joint replacement and fracture care.

Dr Brazinski attended the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate study and then went to Georgetown University for medical school on an Air Force Scholarship. He completed his internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland and served 3 years at Mather Air Force Hospital, the last as Chief of the department. During this time, he was on clinical staff at UC Davis Hospital.

He and his family then chose to settle in Morganton, where they enjoy the outdoors, biking, and most other sports as well. They have four children and recently spent 6 weeks on a medical mission trip to the country of Bhutan with Orthopaedics Overseas. Dr Brazinski has enjoyed serving the community as the orthopaedic provider at the Good Samaritan Clinic since 1999.
