  PERSONAL STATEMENT
Doctor Tiffany attended medical school in San Diego at the University of California. Following that he trained in Anesthesia at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was board certified in Anesthesiology in 2005 and is currently seeking board certification in Pain Management. Prior to coming to work with Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists he worked at Caldwell Memorial Hospital as an anesthesiologist and pain practitioner. He was also Department Chief in his last year there.

Doctor Tiffany became interested in pain while in residency and has expanded his knowledge and repertoire while at Caldwell and since joining COS. Pain management is a challenging field requiring a multidisciplinary approach involving medications, procedures, psychosocial support and sometimes surgery. He is currently proficient in most pain relieving procedures and is exploring more sophisticated approaches to pain management.

He and his family still live in Lenoir where they enjoy equestrian activities and the Blue Ridge Mountains. He and his wife Kelly have three children the oldest of which will be starting school soon.
