Dr. William Bell is a board eligible Orthopaedic surgeon joining Carolina Orthopaedic Specialists in Burke County. He was born in Greenville, Mississippi. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi in 2002, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. In 2008, Dr. Bell received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr. Bell's professional training in orthopaedic surgery includes the successful completion of an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2013. In July 2014, Dr. Bell completed a one-year fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity and Microvascular Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He worked for the past year at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center specializing in hand and wrist surgery.
Dr. Bell and his wife, Catherine, along with their two sons, Clayton and Harrison, are excited to make Morganton their home. They love being outside and spending time with friends and family.
