Dr. Mark Brazinski is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and a current fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery as well as total joint replacement and fracture care.
He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine on an academic scholarship through the Air Force. His surgical internship and orthopaedic residency training were completed at University Hospitals of Cleveland through Case Western Reserve University. After residency, Dr. Brazinski served his country as an active duty Major at Mather Air Force Hospital as well as a clinical attendee at UC Davis Hospital.
Dr. Brazinski has been delivering state-of-the-art orthopaedic care to the residents of Burke and McDowell counties since 1999. He sees medicine as a calling and has volunteered his services at the Good Samaritan Clinic since 1999. He and his family have also served in extended medical missionary trips through Health Volunteers Overseas in Asia and Africa. Pictures of these trips can be found here.
Dr. Brazinski's philosophy of practice is focused on keeping patients mobile and fit so that they can enjoy life and be productive. He currently sees patients at our practice location in Morganton.
