Dr. William Bell is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and specializes in the hand, wrist, and elbow. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Mississippi in 2002, receiving a bachelor's degree in biology. In 2008, Dr. Bell received his Doctor of Medicine from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi. His professional training in orthopaedic surgery includes the successful completion of an orthopaedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2013. In July 2014, Dr. Bell completed a one-year fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He also worked at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, specializing in hand and wrist surgery for one year.
Dr. Bell was born in Greensville, Mississippi. He and his wife, Catherine, along with their three sons, Clayton, Harrison, and Lawson, are excited to make Morganton their home. They love being outside and spending time with friends and family.
