Our specialty-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeons and doctors are dedicated trauma specialists board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and committed to providing patients with the compassionate, world-class medical care they deserve and need to emerge stronger.

Our trauma doctors are experts at diagnosing and treating severe injuries of the musculoskeletal system, such as pelvis fractures or ankle fractures. Additionally, they are not only highly skilled in providing nonsurgical medical care for trauma-related injuries but also in performing orthopaedic surgery, including minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery, and surgical fracture care.

How Our Orthopaedic Trauma Doctors Help Patients Emerge Stronger

When our orthopaedic trauma doctors develop an individualized treatment plan for a patient with an orthopaedic injury, their first step is to always look at nonsurgical treatment options that will help before recommending surgery, unless the injury is life-threatening and surgery is required. Sometimes, the problem can be solved without the need for surgery with treatments such as physical therapy or nonsurgical fracture care.

However, if nonoperative treatments fail to provide relief for the patient or their pain becomes debilitating, our trauma surgeons will recommend a surgical treatment plan that is right for the patient. Our surgeons have undergone extensive training and specialize in a variety of trauma procedures that can be used to treat a variety of trauma-related injuries, including the following:

  • Arthroscopic reconstruction of joints
  • Corrective surgery
  • Joint replacement
  • Reconstructive surgery
  • Surgical fracture care, including spine fracture care

Our surgeons understand that patients sometimes have concerns about surgical procedures, which is why they are dedicated to spending time to educate and provide patients with an understanding of the surgery and how it will be beneficial. They also make sure they answer any questions the patient might have about their trauma injury or surgery.
